Additionally, this sensor integrates the exclusive "Cyclic Self-Cleaning Technology" developed by YenProtek. The self-cleaning function effectively prevents biofilm buildup on the sensor probes, ensuring long-term accuracy and stability while significantly reducing maintenance costs and manual labor. This technology has been awarded Utility Model Patent No. M617481, reflecting YenProtek's innovation capabilities and technical strength.
Combining modular design and self-cleaning functions, the smart self-cleaning water quality sensor adapts to diverse site requirements and integrates water quality data onto the Cloud. It provides a comprehensive one-stop service for water quality monitoring and remote management in smart aquaculture farms, making it the best choice for smart fish pond management.
Smart Self-Cleaning Gas Sensor
Smart Gas Sensing Equipment
YenProtek researched and developed a smart self-cleaning gas sensor customized to meet client needs, designed to stably detect and monitor various gases in the environment. This equipment features a modular design for power supply methods, transmission technologies, and monitoring items. The modular design gives the sensor high flexibility in power sources, data transmission, and monitoring parameters. Users can choose suitable configurations (such as solar panel or battery power, and LoRa, NB-IoT, LTE, or Wi-Fi transmission) according to their needs, and flexibly select appropriate monitoring items based on practical applications. The sensor can be flexibly equipped with temperature and humidity, ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), and other environmental sensors. Data is synchronously uploaded to the Cloud for real-time recording and integration. Users can monitor environmental data anytime and anywhere via a web-based system interface. When the concentration of harmful gases exceeds the standard, the system immediately issues an alarm, enabling swift awareness of the farming environment status and the implementation of necessary actions.
In addition, this smart gas sensor utilizes an automatic residual gas purification technology developed exclusively by YenProtek. This effectively avoids potential sensor damage from long-term exposure to high concentrations of harmful gases and reduces maintenance costs. This exclusive technology has been awarded Invention Patent No. I805027, reflecting YenProtek's innovation capabilities in sensor technology.
Currently, this smart gas sensor is widely used in various fields, including general indoor harmful gas monitoring, soil and greenhouse gas monitoring, and livestock farms such as pig farms.
Smart Aquaponics Systems
Smart Aquaponics System
YenProtek partnered with National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) to design an aquaponics system that integrates three functions: aquaculture water quality monitoring, a feeding system, and a plant drip irrigation system. The water quality sensing system automatically draws water samples for testing, measuring dissolved oxygen, pH, electrical conductivity, ammonia nitrogen, and water temperature. In addition to collecting water quality data, the data is simultaneously uploaded to the cloud for recording, so the aquaculture environment can be monitored remotely anytime, anywhere. The feeding and plant drip irrigation systems can run on automatic schedules, or feeding and irrigation can be controlled manually and remotely as conditions require.
With the system in place, the research team can not only track the fish farming and crop growing environments in real time, but also use long-term monitoring data to identify the external environmental factors that affect fish and crop yields, providing a stronger basis for future research on improving fish and plant quality and yield. At the same time, the automated, connected system greatly reduces the manpower needed for inspections and record-keeping, making research work more efficient.
Handheld Portable Soil Sensor
Handheld Soil Sensing Equipment
YenProtek developed a handheld soil sensing device to meet the need for highly mobile and convenient soil testing. Although this project is a simple handheld version, we did not compromise on accuracy. YenProtek exclusively selected soil sensors from Murata, Japan, providing highly accurate sensing data such as soil temperature, soil moisture content, and electrical conductivity.
To enhance operational convenience and the user experience, the handheld sensor developed by YenProtek supports Bluetooth connectivity. After measurement, users do not need to spend extra labor and time recording. By simply using the APP, the sensed data can be displayed on the interface and uploaded to the database. This allows agricultural business managers or farmers to test the soil environment anytime and anywhere. By making data-driven decisions on watering and fertilizing schedules, it helps save water, electricity, fertilizer, labor, and other costs, while also reducing the operational burden on the farm.
Crop Growth Greenhouse Gas Emission Sensors
Environment Greenhouse Gas Emission Sensing Equipment
YenProtek researched and developed a highly mobile greenhouse gas emission sensor for plant growth environments, specifically designed for agricultural system companies. In this project, we supported the client from conceptual design to prototype creation, executing functional proofs and testing to ensure the equipment's performance and reliability met practical application requirements. After multiple rounds of testing and tuning, we ultimately delivered a prototype that met the client's needs. It can automatically collect and wirelessly transmit data to a backend management platform, enabling real-time monitoring of gases like CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), CH4 (Methane), and N2O (Nitrous Oxide), helping the client develop a more comprehensive greenhouse gas monitoring solution.
In terms of equipment design, YenProtek underwent multiple tests and developed a unique cabin structure featuring a dual-channel design that effectively filters out interfering gases and ensures data accuracy. To enhance the equipment's durability and maintenance convenience, we integrated the exclusive automated gas sensing and cleaning technology developed by YenProtek.
