Heat Safety Guardian is a heat hazard alert system developed in-house by YenProtek. It calculates the WBGT heat stress index in real time and, when limits are exceeded, triggers an on-site audible-visual alarm along with SMS, Email and App push notifications.
Legal Obligation
The US currently has no federal standard specific to work in high heat. Under the General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers to eliminate known heat hazards that can cause death or serious injury. The National Emphasis Program on Outdoor and Indoor Heat-Related Hazards, updated on April 10, 2026, designates days when the forecast heat index reaches 80°F (26.7°C) as heat priority days, and also inspects high-risk industries when the National Weather Service issues a heat warning or advisory. OSHA's proposed Heat Injury and Illness Prevention standard, issued in 2024, uses heat index triggers of 80°F and 90°F (26.7°C and 32.2°C) and also allows WBGT as an alternative; as of October 2026 it is still under review and has not been finalized.
California, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Nevada and Colorado (agriculture) have state laws. In California, shade must be kept available at all times when the outdoor temperature exceeds 80°F (26.7°C), and high-heat procedures start at 95°F (35°C) and above; when the indoor temperature or heat index reaches 87°F (30.6°C), employers must measure and record it and control heat hazards. State thresholds are mostly based on temperature or heat index, while Minnesota sets an upper limit for indoor work in WBGT.
Requirements vary by country and industry; always confirm your actual obligations against the local regulations in force. This system supports monitoring, alerting and record-keeping, but it does not replace statutory workplace environmental measurements.
Precision Sensing
Simultaneously measures air temperature, humidity, black globe temperature, wind speed, and wind direction, and displays the WBGT heat stress index in real time.
Accurately measures environmental radiant heat (including direct sunlight and radiant heat from hot machinery)
High-sensitivity digital sensing with fast response and low error
Anti-condensation design for stable operation in high-humidity environments
Assesses microclimate heat dissipation and can assist facility ventilation control
The system computes WBGT in real time and proactively issues alerts when readings become abnormal, supporting effective heat hazard management
Three-Layer Synchronized Alerts
When monitored readings reach your custom alert thresholds, the system simultaneously activates on-site warnings, remote notifications, and cloud logging.
A high-decibel, high-brightness audible-visual alarm is triggered immediately on site, alerting workers to heat hazard risk.
The system simultaneously notifies managers of alarms via SMS, Email, App push notifications or LINE, making it easy to monitor site conditions remotely; other messaging apps are coming online progressively.
Environmental data and event records from before and after each alert are retained automatically for later review, tracking, and auditing.
No Wiring Needed
The standard kit includes a solar power module and an NB-IoT communication module, so no additional power or network cabling is required. Installation is quick and easy, making it ideal for temporary construction sites or work areas where equipment is frequently relocated.
Cloud Command Center
Integrated AIoT monitoring makes hard-to-detect heat hazard risks visible in real time.
API & MCP Integration
API and MCP are available to connect monitoring data to existing management systems or AI tools.

Warranty & Service
As simple as a phone or home appliance: use it straight out of the box, and if it fails under warranty, we replace it.
For one year after purchase, we cover any fault in the product itself, and an extended warranty is available. Actual warranty terms are subject to your quotation.
If it fails under warranty, there's no repair trip and no waiting: we ship a replacement right away, so heat hazard monitoring never stops.
If equipment fails, we ship a replacement unit directly to overseas customers; shipping method and cost are as stated in the quotation.
Solar-powered with NB-IoT wireless transmission, so even temporary sites can be set up quickly.
Designed and manufactured by our team in Taiwan, with remote technical support for overseas customers.
Track Record & Applications
WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) is an index that takes into account environmental factors such as air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and radiant heat to assess the risk of heat stress that hot environments pose to the human body. It is also the heat stress assessment index adopted by the ISO 7243 international standard. Heat Safety Guardian calculates WBGT in real time from air temperature, humidity, and globe temperature, and proactively issues alarms when readings become abnormal.
The US has no federal standard specific to work in high heat. OSHA enforces against heat hazards under the General Duty Clause of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and under its National Emphasis Program on Outdoor and Indoor Heat-Related Hazards it steps up inspections on days when the forecast heat index reaches 80°F (26.7°C). OSHA's proposed Heat Injury and Illness Prevention standard, issued in 2024, uses heat index triggers of 80°F and 90°F (26.7°C and 32.2°C) and also allows WBGT as an alternative; as of October 2026 it is still under review and has not been finalized. Several states have their own laws. For example, California requires shade to be available when outdoor temperatures exceed 80°F, starts high-heat procedures at 95°F (35°C) and above, and requires employers to measure, record and control heat hazards indoors when the temperature or heat index reaches 87°F (30.6°C); Maryland requires at least a 10-minute rest break every 2 hours when the heat index exceeds 90°F (32.2°C), and at least 15 minutes every hour when it exceeds 100°F (37.8°C). Rules vary by state, so please follow the current regulations in your state.
Heat Safety Guardian uses a three-tier synchronized alarm mechanism: on site, high-decibel, high-brightness audible and visual alarms alert workers immediately; at the same time, the system sends alarm notifications to managers via SMS, Email and App push notifications (LINE is also supported, and other messaging apps are coming online progressively) so they can keep track of site conditions remotely; and in the cloud, environmental data and event records from before and after each alarm are retained for later review and auditing.
The standard kit includes a solar power module and an NB-IoT communication module, so no additional power or network cabling is required. Installation is quick and easy, making it ideal for temporary construction sites or work areas where equipment is frequently relocated.
Yes. Alert thresholds can be customized to local regulations, guidelines or site needs. When a reading reaches a threshold, on-site alarms and real-time push notifications (LINE, SMS, Email, App) are triggered at the same time.
Yes. Besides outdoor work such as construction sites, road paving, and elevated rooftops, it is also suitable for high-temperature workplaces such as steel mills and high-temperature industrial plants.
The system automatically retains environmental data and event records from before and after each alert for later review, tracking, and auditing.
It comes with a one-year warranty, and an extended warranty is available. If the product fails during the warranty period, there's no need to send it in and wait for repairs: we ship you a replacement right away so your heat hazard monitoring is back up and running as quickly as possible. After the warranty expires, units can be returned to our factory for repair. Actual warranty terms are subject to your quotation.
Connection frequency bands, local telecom networks, and certification requirements vary by country. Please tell us the country and site where the product will be used, and we will confirm the suitable communication version and supply arrangements.
