Project Development Overview
YenProtek has developed a handheld soil sensing device to meet the needs for highly mobile and convenient soil testing. Although this project is a simple portable version, we do not compromise on accuracy. YenProtek exclusively selected soil sensors from Murata, Japan, which provide highly accurate sensing data such as soil temperature, soil moisture content, and electrical conductivity.
To enhance operational convenience and the user experience, the handheld sensor developed by YenProtek supports Bluetooth connectivity. After measurement, users do not need to spend extra labor and time recording. By simply using the application (APP), the sensed data can be displayed on the interface and uploaded to the database. This allows agricultural business managers or farmers to test the soil environment anytime and anywhere. Making data-driven decisions on watering and fertilizing schedules helps save water, electricity, fertilizer, labor, and other costs, while also reducing the operational burden on the farm.
