Smart Gas Sensing Equipment
YenProtek Technology researched and developed a smart self-cleaning gas sensor customized to meet client needs, designed to stably detect and monitor various gases in the environment. This equipment features a modular design for power supply methods, transmission technologies, and monitoring items. The modular design gives the sensor high flexibility in power sources, data transmission, and monitoring parameters. Users can choose suitable configurations (such as solar panel or battery power, and LoRa, NB-IoT, LTE, or Wi-Fi transmission) according to their needs, and flexibly select appropriate monitoring items based on practical applications. The sensor can be flexibly equipped with temperature and humidity, ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), and other environmental sensors. Data is synchronously uploaded to the Cloud for real-time recording and integration. Users can monitor environmental data anytime and anywhere via a web-based system interface. When the concentration of harmful gases exceeds the standard, the system immediately issues an alarm, enabling swift awareness of the farming environment status and the implementation of necessary actions.
In addition, this smart gas sensor utilizes an automatic residual gas purification technology developed exclusively by YenProtek Technology. This effectively avoids potential sensor damage from long-term exposure to high concentrations of harmful gases and reduces maintenance costs. This exclusive technology has been awarded Invention Patent No. I805027, reflecting YenProtek's innovation capabilities in sensor technology.
Currently, this smart gas sensor is widely used in various fields, including general indoor harmful gas monitoring, soil and greenhouse gas monitoring, and livestock farms such as pig farms.
Smart Aquaponics System
YenProtek Technology collaborated with National Pingtung University of Science and Technology to jointly design a Smart Aquaponics System, integrating three main functions: aquaculture water quality monitoring, an automated feeding system, and a plant drip irrigation system. The water quality monitoring system automatically extracts water samples for inspection, monitoring parameters such as dissolved oxygen, pH, electrical conductivity, ammonia and nitrogen ions, and water temperature. Besides collecting water quality data, the information is continuously transmitted to the Cloud for recording, allowing remote tracking of the cultivation environment data anytime, anywhere. Both the automated feeding system and the plant drip irrigation system can be flexibly scheduled in advance or controlled remotely and manually according to the situation.
Once built, the system not only enables research units to understand the real-time conditions of fish farming and plant cultivation but also utilizes this long-term monitoring data to analyze external environmental factors affecting fish aquaculture and crop harvests. This provides an excellent data foundation for future research to effectively enhance the quality and quantity of fish and plants. Furthermore, the automated, internet-connected system saves significant time and resources in manual monitoring and record-keeping, making the research process smoother and more efficient.
Handheld Soil Sensing Equipment
YenProtek developed a handheld soil sensing device to meet the need for highly mobile and convenient soil testing. Although this project is a simple handheld version, we did not compromise on accuracy. YenProtek exclusively selected soil sensors from Murata, Japan, providing highly accurate sensing data such as soil temperature, soil moisture content, and electrical conductivity.
To enhance operational convenience and the user experience, the handheld sensor developed by YenProtek supports Bluetooth connectivity. After measurement, users do not need to spend extra labor and time recording. By simply using the APP, the sensed data can be displayed on the interface and uploaded to the database. This allows agricultural business managers or farmers to test the soil environment anytime and anywhere. By making data-driven decisions on watering and fertilizing schedules, it helps save water, electricity, fertilizer, labor, and other costs, while also reducing the operational burden on the farm.
