Non-Intrusive Legacy Equipment Data Collection and Smart Manufacturing Applications
YenProtek Technology partnered with a renowned domestic stamping machine manufacturer to develop an operation monitoring project for legacy manufacturing machines. We assisted in collecting data from older equipment, enabling seamless upgrades without modifying the existing machinery. By installing a compact control box, we empower machines to transmit crucial real-time data to the Cloud—such as punch counts, operational rates, and downtime causes. Administrators can monitor the operation status of machines across the entire plant and track production details and work order progress at any time via computers, mobile phones, or tablets. Furthermore, we designed a touchscreen Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for machine operators, allowing production line staff to intuitively and easily review and adjust production parameters.
Additionally, we assisted the client in integrating data analysis and decision-making tools. Through machine lists, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) displays, and trend charts, administrators can quickly identify underperforming machines, optimize workflow scheduling, and enhance overall production management transparency and precision. This project not only facilitated a smooth transition for the stamping equipment manufacturer but also allowed their clients to effortlessly upgrade existing equipment, breaking free from the constraints of manual recording and information silos, and steadily marching toward realizing Smart Manufacturing.

Uncovering Hidden Production Data, Making Assembly Processes More Transparent, and Production Management Highly Efficient!
We developed an iBeacon & RFID assembly line timing tracking solution for domestic manufacturers to help enterprises elevate production transparency, accurately control product assembly times, and enhance delivery management efficiency. Unlike automated production lines where production data can be extracted from equipment via network devices like Monitor-Fairy or stamping machine monitoring systems, assembly work still relies heavily on manual labor. This makes it difficult for administrators to grasp the real-time progress of each workstation and accurately predict completion times. Previously, operators relied primarily on manual records for production progress, which not only increased staff workload but was also prone to data errors, subsequently affecting production planning and delivery forecasting. By installing iBeacons or RFID Tags on part baskets, the system automatically logs the time each basket spends on the production line and feeds this data back to the management system in real-time. This provides administrators with clear visibility into the production status of each station, enabling them to adjust schedules and forecast deliveries based on actual data. This solution empowers enterprises to monitor production progress in real-time, reduce manual recording errors, and boost overall efficiency, making the assembly process more transparent and precise, thereby delivering tangible benefits to the enterprise's operations.

This project aims to enhance production efficiency and inspection accuracy, utilizing automation to reduce staff workload and ensure consistent quality. YenProtek Technology collaborated with YA HAI Technology Co., Ltd. to develop a custom automated glass inspection system utilizing IoT technology, specifically designed for production lines such as glass, backlight boards, touch panels, and thin film LCD panels.
This system is equipped with high-precision inspection devices that can quickly and accurately detect the location and type of defects, such as bubbles, foreign objects, chipped edges, rough edges, scratches, cracks, and flatness issues. It enables machines to automatically identify defects, reducing errors caused by manual inspection. The intuitive User Interface (UI) transforms complex operations into simple, naturally understood processes. Moreover, the system integrates IoT technology to upload inspection data to the Cloud in real-time, allowing administrators to remotely monitor production status at any time. When the production line yield rate is abnormal, issues can be quickly located and improved based on data, ensuring stable production and quality enhancement.
