UWB Personnel Tracking and Alert System

UWB Personnel Tracking and Alert System

YenProtek Technology designed and developed a UWB personnel tracking and alert system for a large medical beauty clinic. Using UWB TAGs and base stations, it precisely identifies the real-time location of staff and clients within the facility. A dynamic floor plan is displayed on the monitoring platform, showing individual movements and associated names, providing an intuitive and highly efficient management method. The TAG worn by clients features two buttons for calling services or requesting emergency assistance with a single press. Once pressed, the system changes color for an immediate alert and sends a LINE notification to relevant staff for rapid response, ensuring safety and swift action. Furthermore, the system can set up Geofencing for specific areas; if unauthorized individuals enter, the system automatically triggers an alarm. The status of VIP rooms (e.g., in use, awaiting cleaning, etc.) can also be automatically updated and notify relevant staff for cleaning.
This system supports complete customer service process tracking—from check-in and receiving a TAG, setting service items, to binding process areas and managing time—all recorded and updated automatically, making service process management highly efficient and accurate. The backend system supports custom alert types and designated recipients, along with a movement history replay function, facilitating the analysis of client behavior and staff movement. This system not only effectively reduces staff workload and management costs but also significantly elevates operational efficiency and safety within the facility, presenting a new data-driven smart solution for medical beauty clinics.

UWB Forklift Positioning and Dock Safety Warning System Development

UWB Forklift Positioning and Dock Safety Warning System

A large tech company required sensor equipment and IoT technology to accurately locate forklifts, personnel, manual pallet jacks, hydraulic pallet trucks, etc. When a forklift enters or exits a designated area, the system must issue light and sound warnings via LED warning lights to enhance work safety at the loading dock and reduce accident risks. Additionally, the client needed the system to be easy to install and quick to deploy.
The solution we provided is a UWB Vehicle Sensing System, which includes mounting UWB Tags on the forklifts and installing wireless receivers with warning lights on the walls. The LED warning lights can be configured to operate in multiple sets and can determine the distance between the forklift and the monitored area based on the UWB Tag's signal strength. When a vehicle approaches the monitored area, the system immediately emits visual and audible alerts to warn personnel. This system not only improves worker safety but also reduces personnel costs for access control.
The advantage of using the UWB sensing and positioning system is that each UWB Tag has a unique ID; the receiver can precisely track a specific ID and ignore other Tags. Moreover, the cost of UWB Tags is relatively low, and they are easy to install, use, and replace, making them highly suitable for rapid deployment.

WBGT Workplace Heat Hazard Monitoring Weather Station Development

WBGT Workplace Heat Hazard Monitoring Weather Station Development

In this project, YenProtek Technology was commissioned by a sensor manufacturer to transform non-networked equipment into smart devices equipped with IoT functions. We provided a comprehensive solution, including hardware device design, motherboard design, sensor component integration, data transmission module development, as well as Cloud systems and mobile application (APP) interface creation. The smart WBGT heat hazard monitoring weather station can automatically collect and transmit various environmental data, such as ambient temperature and humidity, Black Globe temperature, TWL, WBGT, heat index, and wind speed. Data is uploaded to the Cloud in real-time via wired or wireless (4G) connections and can be visually monitored and analyzed on a web system in real-time, sending immediate alerts when values exceed standards. In this project, we helped the client increase their sensor's smart capabilities, enabling users to manage and utilize environmental data more efficiently, thereby elevating heat hazard prevention in high-temperature workplaces.
This equipment is ideal for workplaces requiring high heat hazard protection. It not only meets the needs of construction sites but is also suitable for steel mills, glass factories, petrochemical industries, electrical engineering, and other high-temperature work environments. Smart data monitoring and real-time alerts effectively enhance health and safety guarantees for workers in high-temperature environments while assisting management agencies in more accurately assessing risks and controlling operations.

Smart Alcohol and Temperature Detection Device Development

Smart Alcohol and Temperature Detection Device Development

To address the safety issue in many construction sites where workers consume alcohol-laced energy drinks before or during work, the client commissioned YenProtek Technology to design and manufacture a smart alcohol and body temperature detection device. Widely applicable in office buildings, construction sites, and other controlled locations, this device detects body temperature and alcohol levels in real-time as individuals enter high-risk work areas. If individuals with safety risks are detected, the system automatically denies entry to protect worker safety and prevent employers from facing inspections and fines.
YenProtek Technology met the client's needs by customizing the operational interface and exterior design, ensuring the device seamlessly fits into various work environments. Simultaneously, to facilitate integration with the client's legacy systems (such as access control and attendance systems), YenProtek provided API protocols, allowing enterprises to deploy it with greater flexibility. Measured data is stored in the system or uploaded to the Cloud and can be queried at any time. This reduces the manual operations and recording errors common to traditional alcohol testers and thermometers, making workplace safety management significantly more efficient.
