Project Development Overview

YenProtek Technology collaborated with National Pingtung University of Science and Technology to jointly design a Smart Aquaponics System, integrating three main functions: aquaculture water quality monitoring, an automated feeding system, and a plant drip irrigation system. The water quality monitoring system automatically extracts water samples for inspection, monitoring parameters such as dissolved oxygen, pH, electrical conductivity, ammonia and nitrogen ions, and water temperature. Besides collecting water quality data, the information is continuously transmitted to the Cloud for recording, allowing remote tracking of the cultivation environment data anytime, anywhere. Both the automated feeding system and the plant drip irrigation system can be flexibly scheduled in advance or controlled remotely and manually according to the situation.

Once built, the system not only enables research units to understand the real-time conditions of fish farming and plant cultivation but also utilizes this long-term monitoring data to analyze external environmental factors affecting fish aquaculture and crop harvests. This provides an excellent data foundation for future research to effectively enhance the quality and quantity of fish and plants. Furthermore, the automated, internet-connected system saves significant time and resources in manual monitoring and record-keeping, making the research process smoother and more efficient.
