Project Development Overview
Production process yield rate is often a key factor directly affecting costs and production efficiency. High-tech manufacturers, in particular, hope to reduce defects and save costs in R&D and manufacturing processes. To help equipment manufacturers easily use the latest technology to solve clients' problems, YenProtek Technology collaborated with IICc Ltd. in this project to develop a custom automated glass inspection system. With an intuitive interface and excellent inspection equipment, specifically designed for glass, backlight board, touch panel, and thin-film LCD panel production lines, it can quickly and accurately detect the locations and types of product defects, such as bubbles, foreign objects, chipped edges, bumps, scratches, cracks, and flatness. In addition to assisting in accurate judgment, it leverages IoT technology to synchronously upload results to the Cloud for complete records. When production line yield anomalies are found, the data can be used to quickly locate and improve problems, maintaining production quality and stability. The fully automated system can also significantly reduce the labor burden of inspection and recording, making production line operations more efficient.
